• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

i would know the delate to get Terra accesories from dealers.. Somebody could report what happen??.
I did not see we have to wait so long to get replace parts from Terra.
 
Really it depends on what part/accessory and what the current status is.

When I got my extended windshield, my dealer had one sitting on the shelf.

Other accessories, are not likely to ever become available (heated grips? rear box with rack?)

I haven't gotten any other replacement parts, but from my WR300 I had issues with the warehouse change a month or so back, but outside of that things haven't been too crazy.

I have no idea of how things are outside of the USA though.

Soon after I bought mine my dealer had the factory handguards on the shelf. These are the same part from the G650GS so it makes sense that they would be available. The factory heated handgrips are available in Australia, so I presume they're also available elsewhere. They are the same part they use for the Nuda, so these would have been around longer than the Terra, so presumably there should be a supply of them available somewhere in the world (although they are the most expensive heated grips ever, so unlikely to be in demand. Another thread here details some heated grips available on ebay from Hong Kong which can be had for about $20 and do a good job and fit nicely.
 
Cheers , it is just arrived the new instrumentalboard, i hope it is going to be easy to replace..
I need to know . fuel consum dates and total km..
I hope not to have problems with decodifier key and rings.
