• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Did everyone get a new Husky catalog in the mail?

Suamico SD

Husqvarna
AA Class
I got a new husky catalog in the mail yesterday. It is awesome, it has all the bikes plus toms of softgoods and trinkets. I am ready to buy. My last trip to Hall's 300 miles form my house (and my closest dealer if your listening BMW) had some of the jerseys and pants. I am glad BMW is getitng it going finally!

Glad to hear you got a catalog mailed to you. For me, it was a little easier, since my Husky dealer is about two miles form my house. They just handed me a catalog when I bought my new WR300 a few weeks ago. They don't carry very much of the stuff in that catalog, but I did get a nice jersey while I was there, and I'm hopeful that they will order some pants to go with.

No I haven't and I purchashed three new Husky's over the past two years.
Guys with a new Gas Gas on order, get moved down the mailing list.... but really, just bug your Husky Dealer, to make sure you're in the Husky Marketing database.

If you got the RideMore magazine, I'd guess you'll get the catalog too. Not everyone gets them on the same day. I haven't checked today's mail yet, but no catalog so far...

I am glad to get stuff from Husky, I owned a BMW (GS) in the past and this is my 2nd husky. BMW knows how to run a business, we just can't ever think its more than that.

It would be fantastic if they would let us know how to change the address that they have on file. I'm sure they are being sent to my old address.
