I decided that I wanted to go all out with my plate mount removal...The result is as follows
The tail light is from a ZX6R. Factory illumination quality and a DOT label. It is mounted with some Ace Hardware corner straps, which just to happened to position the light perfectly. Used more hangers to mount the plate to the bracket that came with the tail light. It just so happened to also fit perfectly to a plate mount I had from an old Husaberg. Last, and most scary part was to hack up the fender. The plastic the old light and plate mount to all had to go. The last bits I need are some of those LED plate bolts for some white light and some small bolt on reflectors. Anyone have any leads on either?

Felt it was necessary, and only cost like 20 bucks. If you want to do the same, just get the tail light and I can come by and show you what needs to be done.
it has integrated turn signals so nothing pushing out the side at all.
