Has anybody successfully used a condensor instead of a battery (like modern MX bikes) on a 2009 (injected) TE 310?
After studying several wiring diagrams it seems as simple as putting a condensor in parallel with the battery.
I've had a couple of mid race battery failures over the years (which stops the bike) and am looking for a backup plan. Obviously the electric start wouldn't work, but I just want the engine to run.
