• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I have just lost five bikes in a runaway fire that took out my garage and workshop - included were a classic BMW cafe racer and my irreplaceable customised HP2. Anyway luckily my 610 was in another area but I lost the seat, tank and plastics. Can anyone help answer whether the 630 tank and plastics will fit a 610 ('09 FI) frame? Essentially are frames the same?

hi man, got no idea about the parts interchanging but im sooo sorry hear that you lost your bikes,i feel for you

I'm of no help either, but just had to post to say I'm sorry to hear of this. Best of luck to you-

The same Safari tank fits both bikes so I'd think stock tanks would also fit. Does the 610 throttle body fuel hookup face forward on the left side of bike?

Sorry to hear this!

.

Looking for a spare 630 fuel pump fitting if anyone knows of one. I have been given a 630 tank but evidently the coverplate is a different shapeand alsomit is without pump as the guy fitted a Safari tank and is using the pump. I know one can just buy a replacement pump but what else is in the tank? Fuel filter and .... ?

This is what it looks like (disregard the arrow). There was one of these assemblies on Ebay but don't see it now.

Sorry to hear about the fire. That sucks.

Hmm. My 610 pump has two hose connectors. The 630 pump has only a single hose connector?
