  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc Exhaust Pipe Options 2008 WR250

Husqvarna
AA Class
I dented my pipe on the right side pretty bad today. I've looked and it seems as though there aren't any options for an aftermarket pipe for this model year. Does anyone know if I have any options (are there any other years that will fit)?

If not, I may just cut the dented area out and fab in a new piece.

I'm betting 2008 WR will take pipes from WR/CR al the way back to 2003 or so and up to 2010.
When in doubt call Bill's or Hall's

I think that a 2010 pipe should fix but I am not sure, FMF do list a 2006 and earlier model (Item ID: 025010) and a 2009+ (Item ID: 025148), not sure if they fit a 2008... maybe you can contact them and ask...

Regards.

I sent 3 pipes to pacific pipe and got them back looking like new. The down side is the shipping which is why I sent 3 pipes at a time so my buddies and I could split the shipping. It's best to pre-pay the return shipping when you send the pipes. If there is a big dent in them there might be a small scratch or two where the dent was but overall they will be clean and look nearly new. I put a gnarly in the classifieds that should fit your bike.
