As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Thanks! Last year I had a purple(kind of pink one) But dig the New orange! Got a cool decal I gota get on! It's not nice to KTM's I must say!!That's a sweet hauler.
It better be well kept!!! It is a 2012 Dodge Challenger!! Dodge did a great job the new Challengers (08) and up look very close to the old ones!! Closer then the mustang or Camaro I would say! A little heavy, but a full size back seat and a big trunk to haul gear!Is that a Challenger? I remember seeing lots of them back in the day that did not look near that good and well kept ...
This CR is crazy clean. Soom fool thought he had a collectable FBF bike and left it in his garage. Kept boiling rear brakes and pulled the pads. Ha, factory brembos pads. Paint was not even wore off the side of the frame or engine case! 3 rides later and it is now. Fun bike, and still doing more testing. If I prove to be faster on and old school 250, that is what I will race!Fooled me ... I'll have a closer look and try to compare it to a 70s model ....
Here is an 08 to compare with the 70 model ....

Bet your a__ it is a 6-speed manual transmission with 3.92 gears and super trac-pack option to! Sunroof, leather, Nav, ALL Options! )Payment suckssweet ride dude!! manual or auto trans in that beast?
The guy swore it was a fast by ferrachi bike and made in spain to boot!!! He thought it was gold!! I did not arque and he started out at a steep $3,000 and a month and a half later, got it for $1,600 which I still thought was high. I LOVE THIS ENGINE IN THE WOODS!! Does not stall, rocks! Needs 50 tooth rear sprocket and and FMF pipe and and easier to pull clutch, or maybe a new clutch cable. I made the clutch arm a 1/4 inch longer and this helped, but not enough! Would like to redo suspension to!I owned an 02 CR250 .. It was scary fast in the woods ...either short-shift it or ride it at the top of the RPM range to stay away from the hit when the bike got on the pipe at the mid-range ...
Yep, there are many bikes sitting and waiting to be ridden ... The guy was probably scared off by the engine \ speed of the bike and quit riding it ... Mine was not a friendly bike to say the least :0 ) ... One of my friends had a 01 -02 KX250 ... He never out pulled me on that Husky ...
