  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

You live around the Denver area and will agree to lend your bike to Alan at Revloc, he just told me he would let that person have their's for free!

So if anyone in the Denver area is wanting a free Revloc Dyna Ring, call Alan at 1-866-859-9252 or email him at info@revloc.com

tell ALan you saw the post from Bill

The sooner he can get a bike, the sooner we ALL CAN GET A REVLOC Dyna Ring.

I really want to try one of these out. I like the ability to adjust externally so you can bump start if you need too and the ability to over ride 100% while maintaining the stock clutch feel.

Has anybody figured out if other models/years steels are the same as the 2010 310? Alan was saying that is the last part for him to resolve is the steels. To get the steels from Husky/OEM, you have to buy the whole pack (steels and fibers) which is only about ~130, but if there is a compatible steel out there (like a 450/510 or something) then it is easier to source just the steels for the set up. He has to mod the steels for the Dyna ring apparently.

I am willing to just go ahead and buy the OEM set and send them in to him. Wouldn't hurt to have a spare set of fibers.

Man I would really like to have this installed by Jan for the Sumter National!
