• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Full Motos of Washougal (From Vurbmoto)

These riders are knocking my socks off .. What a great example of young professionals applying their trade and then immediately speaking on the event in such a cool manner ... No way these guys can be this well behaved and mannered without all their crew members up to the owners being the ~same way ... Goes double for Coop and his crew ... He talked some smack and then owned up to that shortcoming and then backed it all up with a moto win. The 250 racing is racing right now ... I'm still with JM1 but MM25 can win it for sure ... Toss in Webb who is just as fast and its racing in these final part of the season ...

JB51, 6 holeshots in a row? Or 7? He's hanging it out ...maybe he is used to riding that YamaHammer now? KR94 seems to be saying his bike suspension is fixed? Might be some real 450 racing at the end here?

--

That's about as cool of 1-line racing as possible ... you could see how slick it was with TC41 sliding out a couple times on jump faces ...

I know it! JB51 has been on fire as of late - gotta be the blue platics (ha, ha)! He's riding like he did when he was on the 250's.

My memory is a little weak here but this is JB51 3rd yr on a 450? He sat out much of last yr with an injury... He is a top of the line paycheck (6 or 7 digits?) same as RD5, KR94, ...

--
Just do not have the data (wisdom) to recall enough riders who have changed bike brands and stayed at their previous winning levels or got better immediately with a change other than RC4.. KR94 is an current example of a rider who has slowed with a bike change; he's only a 2nd yr rider so not too much to be gathered here ... Might be injuries are part of his issue but he has said the bike is not right for him yet ... CR22 swapped a few brands early on and did well .. Maybe AS29 on a couple brands ...

I'm starting to lean towards these riders, same as you or me, need seat time to get comfortable on a brand before the wick can be set ablaze ...

Seems to be a lot of positive leadership at JGR helping Barcia out as well.
