• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

gpi coolant hoses from ebay

justintendo

klotz super techniplate junkie
many on here have had luck with their rads, and i have heard many also have problems with alignment. not too many problems with leaks tho...i saw they also offer coolant lines for an insane amount of stuff. automotive, street, dirt, etc etc...decided to try their coolant lines on my xcPhoto871.jpg

im a bit laid up from knee surgery so it may be a bit before i can install them but will report what i find out here..60 bucks shipped

putting these on tonight and they are all too long by an inch or so...which is great so you can trim them easily to fit just how you want...somehow i now have a ton of room around my pipe!:applause: anyone with a lc swede knows thats a good thing! the diameter of the hose is perfect, they fit nice and snug. only complaint is that it didnt come with a crossover or overflow line..if these end up being durable, itll be one of the best things i have bought if they hold up. will take a few pics when i get it all together tonight..

to get the fit right, i trimmed and installed pretty much all of them, then pulled it all apart to slide clamps on..

Hi
Is that your 88/250 and if so has it a exhaust valve fitted ?
Can't make it out from the photos.
Cheers Mike

Blue hoses look great & yes, more room at the pipe is much needed. Thats a great thing to "fit" them to your bike, hopefully they will hold up for ya. Thanks for the pics.

that poor bike was looking really thrashed that year..the hoses have held up really well however
