• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I purchased from them about 3 yrs ago ... Their stuff seemed OK to me ... Some of their stuff is still on my 08 TXC250 and I'll be sticking on some of the stuff I had left over in a few days ... Not sure how the glue will stick after all this time .. I'm a fan of the graphics that are embedded in the plastic really ...

Not sure on the shipping ... International shipping is always at the mercy of the customs office of the receiving country I am finding out ... Once an item gets on a plane, its a 1-2 days ride only and it is on the other side of the planet ... Then it sits and waits upon arrival to be cleared ...

I'd buy embedded fenders, side plates and numbers stuff if I could ... make this stuff slick slick so mud does not stick so bad maybe ...

There was another place out there that have good looking sets for ~$100 even but I can't remember who they were ...
 
I had that kit on my 09. Was not impressed with the quality. The Decal works stuff i got recently is 2X the quality. It was acceptabe where the decal works is excellent.

Hmmm...excellent looking graphics but looks like it will a custom kit sine they don't cover 00-05 WR's;(

After looking at the Decal Works web site, I think that is the $100.00 per set stuff I was referring to above ... Looks like for around $170, you can cover entire bike including all number plates and customize some of the stuff on the plates also ...

There were some people talking about a clear coating for the embedded stuff but apparently that played out ...
