    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Saw another one of these Haojue branded bikes out in the provinces ... Some of you folks that are so fascinated with these Chinese brand bikes might wanna perk your ears up and take a look... These guys are huge and have probably never went bellyUp ... Might be something positive here.

It's the 1fitty model ...whips every 125cc, 135cc bikes in sight ... I'm guessing he could tow my Husky out of here if needed so I count this rider as a friend.

This rider was way-out in the boonies on this one ... Behind that Haojue is a big creek\river, no more road really but the river is ridable ;); more later on that creek later.

The shifter linkage is pretty nifty.

I was more concerned how the kicker stayed on the silver one in the first group of pictures with out twisting the splines off. Looks like a few more kicks and he'd be bumpstarting that one from then on ray_ray.

Tell him to loosen that bolt up and tap it back on all the way and tighten it back up with some Loctite. LOL!
 
I'll make a point of that kicker issue if I see the bike again ... More likely I'll see that orange looking one again as that area has few roads and I'll be spending time out there this summer quite possibility ...

Seems the bike makers who stayed with the air-cooled engines stayed with the big wide comfy seat also ...

About all shifters here still have that back-side petal made on them ... Again, for here it fits well for riders in flip-flops and sandals ...
 
Yaa, Hey I hadn't noticed that. A heel pedal on the shifter linkage. All it needs now is some floor boards ray_ray. Like my Hog has, the end that never gets used.

That's market focus! A bike with a shifter designed to make it easier to ride in flip flops. That is crazy!
 
That is surely crazy, safety first.

Next there going to mount an adjustable "Lexan" plastic bubble over the bike that you have to step under with a windshield wiper that's solar powered incase it rains and you forgot to wear your helmet when falling off one of those cliffs.

Whoa now! We ought to pitch that to the company advertisers, anyone speak Chinese? I need a translator?
