• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HELP. Need RH Upper Engine Mounting Hardware

TE250Guy

Husqvarna
AA Class
On a recent adventure ride, the engine mounting and related hardware departed. I should have used loctite blue when I installed the AltRider crash bars. My Bad. I have checked the usual places and they all say unavailable with an uncertain availability date. Here are the items in question:

Bike: 2013 Husqvarna TR 650 Terra

Code: 9903801
Name: INT/TORX SCREW M10X40-8.8-ZNS3
Quantity: 1

Code:
8A00H7716
Name: SPACER
Quantity: 1

Code:
8000H7716
Name: SPACER
Quantity: 1

There were two spacers listed and I am unsure which applies so I ordered both. There is a washer as well that was not backordered.

I checked with several Husky dealers with no joy. I also checked with BMW in the off chance the same parts are used on their 650 model, but abandoned the search after taking up too much time of the service guy.

Any secret places that I can find these parts?

somewhat inflated prices but one option at least

alternatively you could check with this friendly inmate if he still has the parts

the bolt cross-references with BMW part 07129903801 but the spacers don't have a BMW counterpart it seems. This cross-reference list is quite handy

Thanks for the prompt and helpful reply. Tacoma Screw, local to me, has a socket head cap screw in that size for cheap! It is in shear so should be OK. Can buy just one for less than $1. http://www.tacomascrew.com/s.nl/it.A/id.7685/.f For the spacer I can either make one or go the ghetto route and stack washers. Maybe use these or Stainless washers. http://www.tacomascrew.com/s.nl/it.A/id.69944/.f

Can anyone with a tr650 Terra check their RH upper engine mount spacer and see if it is white or black?

silver/white

i guess either the 10mm or 11mm spacer was used to account for tolerances in the fit.

Looks that way. Guess I can measure.

BTW, found what looks to be a BMW equivalent except it is a socket head and not a torx.

Good idea. The spacer is pretty well hidden by the frame and crash bar but maybe I can find a photo and see just enough to get the color. Another option is to get the thicker one and grind it down if it doesn't fit.
