  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st How long is the warranty on US Husky's?

JMann2380

Husqvarna
C Class
I just bought an 09 brand new from a dealer. He wasn't sure on the warranty length, but I searched Husky's site and it says 24 months? Is that correct?

Thanks,
Josh

2 strokesand TXCs in the US are 30 days

TE 250/450/510s are 6 months and the big 600cc+ are 1 yr.

Canada gets the 2yr warranty on TEs and 6 months on 2 strokes and TXCs.

In USA no 24 months on anything
Cr/ Wr/ Txc /Tc/ Limited 30 days parts only
Te/Sm 250/310/450/510 6 months
Te/SM/SMS 610/630 1 year
Like all manufactures ,updates, recall campaigns, emissions warr.Goodwill situations over ride the above.
Husqvarna has always had our back on anything that was deserved Thanks to Rob Keith !in the past,so far the new guys have been doing the same.

I was offered an extended warranty from a 3rd party on my 300 at the time of purchase. It wasn't too bad.. about $600 for 3 years for the least expensive option, covering engine and transmission only. My trans had a serious issue at just under 10 hours but the dealer went after someone else for $900+ in parts and labor as it was determined to be an assembly issue.
