• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A Class
My name is B. I am living in New York.
I am a week away from owning my first Husqvarna!!! :applause:

I just put money down on an 09 Husqvarna SMR 510.
It currently has 2656 miles and looks amazing!

I am dying to finally ride something different then the whole "crotch rocket" craze
lol

Some questions, if no one minds me asking:

1. I have been searching for months for this bike and every time I found one, it was sold. It is super clean (besides decals coming off which he has replacement ones) and pretty much bone stock. They are so hard to find especially around my area. So do you think $5800 is too much for this bike?

2. Do they make passenger pegs for this bike? I have searched wild for them. I gotta have my girl go riding too!!! lol ;)

3. What sites are good for parts? bar ends, hand guards, other plastics, ect.

CANT WAIT TO WHEEEEEEELIE! haha

here are some pix:

1). It's all about what it's worth to you. I would say it is to much money because a left over smr511 isn't that much more. I'm sure you'll love it.

2). Sorry, don't know

3). I would check the site sponsors here. If you need stock parts Hall's and Bills motorcycles plus sound like they have a lot in stock.

What was your last bike? Are you going to do some track days with it?

You said they were scarce in your area, and you really want one, so... it sounds like an ok price to me.

The bike should last a while. Put up a 'wanted' ad in the classifieds for passenger foot pegs if you want, Bills & Halls are both site sponsors and work a whole lotta magic.

Landofmotards: Thanks for all the help. It has just been well over a year trying to get one of these bikes. So i almost wanna say im willing to pay w/e lol. But i talked him down alittle from the orignal price. Im happy with the decision the more i think of it.

I currently have an 88 Honda Interceptor VTR250 and an 03 Honda CRF230F.

My friends both bought enduros but i wanted something like theirs, just for the road only.

Maybe once i get used to the bike and practice enough i will take it to a track, but for now i just wanna ride lol

Coffee: I will begin my search for parts with them! thank you! I have searched alot but some of the places are either crazy prices or half way around the world lol. I try to buy local and/or american companies.

Since you're a street rider and not a racer there is a seat company that sponsors the site. They are supposed to make some really comfortable seats. They look great too.
