• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky wre 125 (need help)

Hey all, I recently brought a '10 125 wre husky as a little project and for something for me to do on a rainy day. Now as I have come to notice the bike parts are not exactly cheap, I was going to convert it to a supermoto (currently off-road tyres) but the wheels I am finding are £800 for the par without tyres. Now is that the right price or have I been looking in the wrong places. All custom parts for the bike seem to start at £70+, I found some pegs as the one's on here are a little worn and they were £90 each, same for the kick stand.. could someone point me in the direction.. or are there any parts for this bike that will fit from other models that are not as pricy.

Thanks for looking and helping

Hi, I have a WRE 125 and have converted it to supermoto. Wheels from either the SMS or SMR 125 are a straight swap onto the WRE. I bought my wheels off eBay for £200 but they required nearly £100 worth of spacers and bearings. Best thing I recommend doing is just watching eBay and gumtree for a pair, I have recently seen this pair of SM 125 wheels which should just swap straight over with your WRE wheels https://www.gumtree.com/p/husqvarna-motorbikes/husqvarna-125-sm-wheels/1190164081
