• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Awesome pics of Anderson on facebook tearing it up.Congrats kiddo what a great way to start a new ride season.

Yep and he's my rider for ama racing in '15 ... Yep, every Japan made bike is in the backseat in '015 ama racing for this Husqvarna dirt bike rider.

Results 24MX Supercross Stockholm, Sweden

1, Jason Anderson, USA Husqvarna
2, Mike Alessi, USA, Suzuki
3, Phil Nicoletti, USA, Yamaha
4, Josh Hill, USA Kawasaki
5, Shane McElrath, USA KTM

KTM came in 5th, they still suck:) crazy how many US riders went there. Excited to see Husky in SX but the competition will be tough, he seems to do better with sx though.

BAM Husky wins a major SX event in the premier class. Welcome to the big-time.

Check your calender ... Its still '14 ...

RD5 mentioned in an interview at the end of the sx racing that he was getting a prototype 016 ktm then and he would be racing it next yr ... If he is getting an all new bike, Husky has gotta be right there in that mix also ... RD5 seemed excited about it ... (KR94 was not?)

So? What's your point? I'm well aware of the date so please do explain....

2014 is just yr one of Husqvarna winning till ktm goes under or Husky splits off or both ... I've only waited my entire bike-riding-life for Husky to be allowed to play with the elite crowd of the ama ...

Having a PRO racing section here to separate true PRO racing from the rest of us, might be a good idea.

OK I get it. You're saying this is just the beginning. I agree, but the Italian husky was always allowed to play they just chose not to, didn't have the funds and frankly the 4 strokes weren't up to the task until possibly the last few years of the x-lite. Remember the Fast by Ferracci effort with Steve Lamson and Travis Preston in '01? Preston won a(Houston I think) regional Supercross, and Lamson got 2nd to Carmichael at the US open of SX. Oh, and KTM is here to stay and they've earned it, they aren't going under!

Do not take this as belligerent, OK? --- 01? 1901, 2001? At best that is 14 yrs ago ... I have to go riding now before I waste too much of the daylight here again. I'll be back, I hope :)
