• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Im looking for a Flywheel & stator for a Husqvarna SM 610 (year 2000).. How do I know what other bikes are compatible so my search for parts isn't so narrow ??

Like can it be from a yr 2000 - 2005 or a TC610 or 570, or 510 or do KTM parts fit ?

How would I know ?
 
thanks for the response.. but could u be a little more specific.. I have no idea what Halls or Uptight is or where it's at..

Thanks for the info folks.. Im narrowing it down..

It seems there are 3 different ignition systems with the SM 610's..,, Question is how do I know which one I have ? I was told to check the CDI unit, which I have now located.. It says it is Kokusan Denki CU2528 - But that doesn't seemt o help me narrow down which one I need.

Anybody know what flywheel and stator I need ?

This is proving to be rather taxing.. I have looked through many of those microfiche's provided above and none seem to have the same part number as my bike..

Just for anyone UK based such as myself who is having similar problems.. I got it fixed via westcountry windings in the UK. As no-one in the UK does OEM stators for SM610's
