  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I just ordered the full Ti Leo for my 2011 TE 250 pt# 80000H2465. Any feed back on this system would be nice.

i have read on hear that someone put the same kit on a tcx250 and it was great and made smooth power

Well I got the last one in the USA. I am really happy with the stock pipe on my 07 510 SMR,
It is nice to buy a great bike out the door with all the best parts. The stock Arrow on the 250 is a good package but the Ti Leo tuned is going to be the shit! My dealer is very interested in the pipe they sold me and offered to tune it for free. IMGP0002.JPG IMGP0003.JPG IMGP0005.JPG

It cost lots of money, fit perfect , 3 OZ less, Big Can. I still have to hook-up the ECU and have TPS re-set with I-Beat software. Plan was to have a Quite bike that rips...IMGP0001.JPG IMGP0002.JPG IMGP0003.JPG

The U.S. factory guys are using a new Pro Circuit system. Not available yet for the rest of us, I was told maybe late April.

Ha Ha this pipe is quieter un -corked then the stock pipe with the silencer.Fun to have the Husky
bark on a 250. I ran it tonight with the stock ecu, ran great (beer-run) Hope my dealer can tune it with the Leo ecu tomorrow? Yes it did cost $$$ , I ran the bike in all conditions and all stock pipe
configurations (un-corked, silencer, spark-arrester)for 250 miles. My Conclusion : Stock pipe " Pap,
pap" does not breath quietly, lots of carbon build-up when the bike has been un-restricted. Ride
report soon??? Track day and first race of the season on the 510 SMR have my focus now, for the next two weeks.

Any updates? How did the new pipe with the stock ecu compare to the upgraded ecu?

Yup, today the dealer re-set the TPS as per Leo Vince instructions. The kit is dated 2010, seams
to have created the problems the 2010s had. Hesitation just off idle. Bummer the stock ECU and Pipe ran better in that range???
