  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna te450 2010 model, poor startting, some issue whit the bike

Hello...
My curiosity is rasing, thats why i was greating new topic, sorry for that....
But i my friend has this problem in he Husky...

So this was come, when just drive, first was that low fuel light on, then go fill up gas and notice that it is almoust ful, then that bike was startting poorly etc.

you guys need to logically trouble shoot the issue work from the simple to the more complex. clean the tank remove and inspect the pump (check pump security they pop out of the mount), replace the filter. Injector itself.....Check your valve lash(you did so check that one off), comp release, fully tune the engine, new plug etc etc . Stay the course and go step by step to eliminate possibilities. Best of luck, these bikes are stout and well built, but it does have some age now being a 2010, a fuel filter is a good call to change out just because of age 5 year all ready!), check your S/A-dB plug (if you have it installed) that the exhaust is not plugged up (the S/A screen for example needs to be cleaned periodically and after 5 years.....it could be a sneaky issue, so check that box off)

Sounds like a low battery, or a faulty ground wire somewhere.
Switch the relays around and see if there is any difference.
Check the grounding of the coil.

Put a voltmeter on the battery, it should be 12.7v or higher when bike is OFF.
Then press the electric starter, the battery should not go below about 10.5 volts .
