  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

how didja break your pump? (I'm assuming you dropped it or something along those lines). I haven't heard anything pro/con about the Kemso... please let us know what you think when you get a chance. (especially if you're not happy with it)

I was also wondering why you chose the Kemso and didn't go with something either cheaper or more expensive- was it a random decision or were there other factors involved?

good luck.

I will have one tomorrow, mine works but dies when loaded up to the 43psi for the injector to fire and atomize the fuel.... currently its like the end of a spray paint can where it splatters unevenly.

Works fine FWIW.
I now need a new injector..... mine seems NFG. After my bike caught fire briefly I pulled the injector assembly and when the pump primes up, the injector looks like a fire suppression sprinkler. Though the injector clicks when powered, it seems the spring to keep it closed is non functional. I bench tested the injector and electrically it is fine 12.4ohms and clicks when energized/de-energized

ok so I have put around 4o miles of easy on and off road riding and I have had no problems with this pump. the reason I had to replace the pump is because I took the tank apart and fount the pump was seated properly as it slipped passed the zip tie. so I reinstalled everything tried to start the bike and had no fuel flow. so back apart again and I douldnt even blow either way through the pump. then I broke the nipple trying to remove the fuel hose lol. the reason I bought the kemso is because of the shiney orange color lol other than that the seller had positive feedback. the pump came with 3 different pickup screens for different applications. so far so good
