  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Can a forum sponsor or CH rider please point me in the right direction in getting red anodized levers (clutch & Brake) for my 2012 TE 310. Its got brembos both sides. I emailed ASV, Jason the sales guy he was a little unsure.

Any help would be appreciated

Im going to need freight costs to Australia too...

The site helped me find an ASV clutch lever for my 630 but contacting ASV was not much help. Think you´ll have to find a dealer who´s prepared to try out what he´s got in stock (or find someone who´s already found the part number).

You can try RHK Levers inside Australia. Can't find some for TE310's though the TE250's might be the same, you would have to enquire: http://www.f1moto.com.au/buy/husqvarna-te250-rhk-quantum-clutch-lever-09-12-red/L01HU250010

well i can confirm the asv brake lever BHF32 is a direct fit for both my 610 & 310.

now to find a clutch lever........

i sent asv an email with the bike model and a few pics of the oem clutch lever and they replied saying the CHF33 should fit.

can anyone confirm? its an expensive trial if it doesn't!

cheers

Does anyone know where to get a standard replacement clutch lever for a 310? I don't need anything super fancy like a $65 ARC lever but a direct replacement would be great as I really like the feel of the stock lever.

You can get an OEM replacement from Husq. but it's pricey. I ended up getting a much less expensive Moose lever for a KTM Brembo perch. You can install a thin shim/washer to make less "floppy". Washer or not it works just fine. Feel is exactly same as OEM. If you want I can go look up the PN.

BTW, after the lever install I got some Acerbis X-Strong Rally Pro handguards to replace the OEM "flag" style guards. I'm wildly happy with these guards. They fit with NO tweaking, have a clever "indexed" bar-end wedge bolt and look badass. They already saved me buying yet another new lever.

Those are great hand guards. Had them installed when I got the bike new last year.
