• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Probably against cafehusky rules but these are quite possibly a real bargain and just what someone on here needs. There is an offer pending on them so don't mess about if you want them. - They are not mine by the way ! item number 331033200938

may be a silly question but I do alot ov vinatge here in US and whhy is it that folks across the way think vintage parts apparently contain gold? Same stuff here for less than half the price all day?

Crazy eh ! The twinshock and evo scene here in the UK is really big. Loads of bikes being purchased form CA and shipped to the uk. Mostly 89 Honda CR250's at the moment mind you.

We have McDonald's, & Burger king here too. Every American dish ever invented !

Mine now ! :) Cheers Treve, I owe you a beer for that (or maybe red wine).
I needed a spare glass for my front lamp. That was cheap compared to what I have seen before.

Box arrived today :). Looks like it is all either NOS or very close to it. A great new lamp complete (79), only missing the W clips to hold the bowl in. I have some of those somewhere. An original angled CEV rear lamp complete with bulb. A pair of rubber fork mountings (that I have been looking for years). And what looks like an 82 front lamp glass and reflector bowl (has the three ears for mounting). I may move that on .... unless I buy an 82 bike to go with it.
All in all, damn good value for money methinks.
Where would we be without this site

Result. ! Also Joe Judging by the strict rule amendments on the EVO class here in the UK the 89 CR250 is about to double in value.

Not even taking into account the cost of shipping on top of that. That is why I was working on a domestic solution for connecting rods. $500/shipped seemed like a little too much for me
