• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Great fun and beautifully tough trails divided sections for all. The TE 310 completed all the A loop sections for a nice ride survivor hat. foto from the lunch break/gas stop with the legend (OK local legend) and all around fun trouble maker/instigator. Other legends were there as well. The ride group are just great folks through and through. Best in the SW ride for sure.

Will check for more pics and vids if any are posted, alot of sections were very sporty.

HELLS YES****************************************!!! I need to get down there for THAT! When I went down, we pre-ran the 500 course, so didn't see any single track like that!!! Killer. What kinda mount is your camera on?

Nice vid! Most of the time I don't watch all the vids because it's mostly the same throughout but this one wasn't. The landscape was also very interesting! Must have been a good ride.

What a sweet little taste. Now I have the flavor and thirst in my mouth that needs to be quenched. Thanks for that tidbit of epic beauty.

Viddy is not me and mine (but I was on that trail also and at times of the day we rode "with" each of those guys) we did 2 loops of 35 miles each. This ride is not a Baja dirt road rally ride its 99% single track with tough rocky A sections and B splits as well, a grueling ride that a lot of starters don't complete ( I failed all before 09, then passed in 09 on the TXC450 then failed again in 10-11 but completed in 12 on the 310!). Will post more as the post ride fotos and vids come in. It was epic and most feel the best ever, partly cloudy a week after rains down here could not have been better.
Just checked my Geeemail fotos are flowing in more to come!!

I saw that vid a few days ago and thought "WOW those guys are hauling not worried about oncoming traffic" after i saw a few other bikes and then realized it was an organized group ride all going the same directions. Good vid / nice ride area. How fun.

Great video, changes the mental picture I had of riding down there. I'll bet the conditions couldn't have been much better.

the "waterfall", happily cleaned it with no drama at all on the 310. The bike is sick.

Eric's trial side CRF fix, no more than 10 miles in, he completed the 70 mile day, commendable.

DD, from what Dai and the crew say, you guys out did yourselves on that one, they all say its really good. Ive only done that short first section a couple of time last year before the new add-ons. I need to get out with the Welshman and run some back and forth loops on that SDAR trail.
Now imagine 70 miles of that trail......post rain fantastic!!

PS in the second short clip at the waterfall, I drop in and wait for the second drop to clear (the 310 made it easy), Dai is shown for a sec behind Rev's cam with his #165 kato300, shortly after, somehow Dai endoed into the water hole and soaked and rock battered himself. He is bruised but ok.
The guy wedged on the right is another Dave who lost his footing when he paused and slid down the rock into that tight spot, he saw me on my arse 2 x that day and I was laughing that I finally got to see him on his arse for once!!
