• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

MICHELIN ENDURO COMP 6 FRONT 90/100X21

Has anyone got any news or real live photos of this new intermediate tyre from Michelin. Details are sketchy and photos hard to come by at the moment. I believe it has been released in Europe and the rest of the world are supposed to get it mid 2012. Whilst a few sites say it is available I am not sure, but would like to know more about it.

I suspect it will sit alongside the Enduro Comp 5 (new mud/soft) and the current Enduro Comp 4(soft/intermediate).

Thanks for posting did not know about a e-comp 6 coming out. heres the UK bike listing and they go up to the 5.
The US market sucks for enduro comp tires, I use the pirelli scorp e comps with mich moussses because I love e-comp tires and the pirellis are easy to get and low cost here.

Interesting about the E-Comp 5 developed with CH Racing Husky during the 2010 WEC season.

The Comp 5 is not taking off here in Australia. The word from the racing is that they are too narrow in their working range with the focus being on Mud-Soft.

Because of the sizing of the new Comp 6 being a 90/100 profile I would suggest that it will not be aimed at the Mud-Soft end of the spectrum, but more to intermediate. Thats what has got my attention and has me speculating a bit.

As soon as I can get confirmation somewhere about the Comp 6 I will post.
