• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Looks like a good ride! The 4 stroke sounds sick! Not in a good way. Guys are riding way to laxed! But the terrain looks awesome! I think I muat just like the sound of a smallbore on the verge of self destruction (If you ain't mixing gas, you aint haulin :censored:!!) Just kidding!

thats TnT's Kato525 with the HCam, me & my bullet proof TXC450-Red/Wht AXO stripes are mostly leading the parade and the TXC-Tractor got me through those ugly bits smoothly and ahead of the cam man.

Either you guys gotta stop posting up vids of these great riding areas out west or I need to get more restraint and stop watching them (like that's gonna happen). I'm so sick of the northeast and its 6 months of winterfest that I'm going nutty. Nice vids of areas like this just ramp up the envy!

That is for sure! I'm ready to ride!! But cold and frozen and snow where I'm from:eek: Won't be to long****************************************

cant wait for you all to get un-cold bound. so we can all share in the rides. we had another good ride today tight stuff some trials practice on the 310, showed a couple of 20 somethings on Katos (not my regualr crew) how good the Husky xlite (and my old tank ass) can get though hard terrain and trials sections. It was fun in an egocentric way to watch one kid fail and get all hung up while the other was trying to explain the best line for me to take up this loose hill with a rock section in middle (that I hadnt seen before). Fletch this is for you man, I rode up and topped it very casually with zero drama, it looked worse than it was,,,,those 2 young buck kato guys made a mountain out of a mole hill, it was a cake walk hill for the 310. My regular crew filled the rest of day with really good stuff but shite they are all on Katos.......its pumpkin city in my offroad world, with the best of late exception being last week with TXC310,TXC250,TE310, LR,SanDHusky,Me on a weekday ride where we had the Welshman on his 530Kato as the token Kato man,

Fletch, I am going to try to get an H cam ride on my ex RM125 just for you my 2T brother. Before I sold it the whole crew was scared to be close out on the trail, I dont think it ever fell off the pipe on one of our familiar trails-ran great sounded like on the "verge of destruction". I was thinking that it needed to be recorded. Lets see what we can do to get you motivated for the thaw!!! R

Yea, it is so funny because one of my fast buds, rides a ktm 450 4-stroke(yuck!!) and sometimes I will follow him and visa versa. My 150 is wide open and his 450 is like putt putt!! He's like Fletch, how the hec do you ride that little 150 so fast, and I'm like how the hec do you ride that big thing so fast!! Yea your right, time to get motivated. Went for a run tonight after work and time to dig out the hand squeezers!! (5 sets of 100 per day) really helps!!! I gotta get myself one of those helmet cams and get some video of Akeley MN (they have had a couple of Nationals there) Can't wait****************************************!

Wait a second - you live in California and you rode a dirtbike through a stream??? Wouldn't that put you on the states most wanted list????
