Motocross World Championship final GP in Fermo Italy
For the final Grand Prix of the World Motocross Championship the event stopped in Fermo in Italy. The hot weather turned the races into an endurance test for riders and their bikes. With his second Top-ten finish in two weeks Alessandro Lupino showed at his home Grand Prix with his ninth place finish once again his skills and underlined the increasing competitiveness of his Husqvarna TC250. Also the second factory rider Michael Leib left the competitors with his serial production Husqvarna behind and was able to gain a 14th and 13th finish. All in all a sometimes very unlucky season ended for the Husqvarna Ricci Racing team with a 15th place for Lupino in the rider's championship.
