  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Motoplastics Quality?

Anyone have the motoplastics graphics or seat cover? If so are they holding up ok? I'm looking at getting some but am hesitant becuase they lack description on their website and I'm a little leery after witnessing the poor quality of the stock graphics on my 08. They'll be going on my wifes bike which means they'll be seeing some dirt time.... :busted:

Can't say myself, but have you considered the 2010 plastic w/graphics imbedded? Not that much more than the Motoplastics AND you don't have to buy the graphics kit. Pretty sure it'll work on the 08 4-strokes. Just got a set for my 2009 and real happy with it thus far. Just a thought.

I've used Motoplastics stuff, all good stuff. It is all, at least last time I bought plastic/graphics, Cemoto. I've had a set of Cemoto graphics on my stock tank for several years with no issues, The seat covers, if they havent changed, are a little thin but seem to hold up well.

I have used them several times. Real good stuff and nice people. No problems.

on my 06 TC 250-300

Thanks for the replies guys. They'd be going on an 06 TC 250/300 as well so the pic is perfect. Thanks!

I agree with Kelly ....Good people and good products from Motoplastics. I've got the white "04 kit" on my TC450 and it has held up well.

Just wanted to add that I ordered the graphics kit and am very happy with the quality. They're alot thicker than some other kits I've ordered for past KTMs and were a fraction of the cost. I'm confident they will hold up well. The Motoplastic guys are great to deal with - shipped promptly and were quick to respond to my emails. I'll be shopping there again.
