• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

MOTORCYCLE TEETER/TOTER

Thats from my old neck of the woods, definitely no hillbillies there! Those are kown as "Cal Poly Dollies" Local college is Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

I forgot, its also the home of roller blades and those suckers with the bugs and scorpions in them. Its a great place!

I did it- thank God I am not on the highlight reel!!! My buddy early on in the vid (KTM) took a big digger lol! His bike was submerged but after we drained it it fired right up. This is a great dual sport ride put on by Cal Poly Penguins. Their mc club has been around since the 40's. Awesome ride thru private ranch land in the San Luis Obisbo area. Epic. Can't wait til next year.

The teeter totter is a total psych out. You approach it and the other end is like 30 feet in the air from the approach point of view. Easy does it.

Do it right, and it's a smooth transition to the other side. Do it wrong, and you get a 15-foot faceplant into the river bank. I would have taken the low road. Some of those face plants looked brutal. Like concussion brutal. No thanks.

Agreed, for me, its something I would like to try, but not with 100+ people standing around. Low road for me too... Dude on the scooter was pimpin it.

I would pin it and land on the tall bank on the other side with tube top girl riding passenger but thats just how I roll.

That's a very cool device but I can't do :( ... At best, I'd have to settle for the tube top gal after motosportz finished ...
