• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Motosportz SS Mount to Accomodate IMS Tank

Do you have an ETA on the new SS mount to fit the IMS tank. If it has been posted elsewhere,I apologize but I could not find anything.

I have delayd my installation since I had no real compelling need in the short run and wanted the best of both worlds. Doing Santo Tomas to San Quitin in a couple of weeks though.

We are working on it but unfortunately are swamped with a huge international distributor order we are working on. I need one too, I hate riding my bike without my damper**************************************** It's not going to be EZ. I hope to have it done next week and available in about 2 weeks but can't guarantee that. IMS got over a year to get the tank out, give me a little breathing room please. :D Thanks.

OK people, lets be gentle on Kelly, I think he's about to snap (if he hasn't already) from the pressure and turn into a partz nazi. You know, "No parts for you!!"
Whenever you get er done Kelly, no rush, take time and enjoy a fresh cupcake and it'll all workout just fine.

Smilies, like the SS mount to accommodate the IMS tanks, take a bunch of work done in the background, and after the are done they just 'suddenly show up'.

I don't envy the amount of work you have on your plate at the moment but the end results of your endeavors will be awesome. :thumbsup:
 
Kelly, all my comments were meant as good natured ribbing. I appologize if they were taken as harassment. You make exceptional products and I proudly display them on my Husky. Keep up the great work.

As a side note, one of my dear friends (my secretary and her family) moved to Vancouver, WA this summer. I spent 3 days over July 4th weekend there with them. Wow what a beautiful place. I have to get up there next summer to ride. I will certainly be looking to you for suggestions on riding areas. If you ever feel up to trying the Dusy - Ershim or the other great trails in the Sierras outside of Fresno let me know. I'll join you or at a minimum, point you in the right direction.

I am getting in line for that ass kissing, or I am going to fly up there with you. :applause: We don't need to bring our bikes, Kelly loves them Huskys, we can ride his. :busted: Ok, I have an order together of about 800.00 bucks. :notworthy:Yes, That was a motivation jab. :doh:
