• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

1971 400 Cross
2011 TE 250 Meo Replica
2011 TE 449
2012 TE310

Missing from the photo is,

1978 CR 250
1981 CR 250
1982 AXC 420
1982 WR 250

The 1967 CR and the 1971 CR are in the process of being restored.
I think i'm addicted to Huskys as i search ebay everyday for the next addition to my collection!
i couldn't think of a better brand to be addicted too****************************************!

Criminal! Nobody should be allowed to have that many Huskys, and that much potential fun!
Haha! It's hard to decide what to ride! The Meo replica has never been ridden it lives in my lounge room, but when the 71 400 Cross is finished i think the Meo will be banished to the Garage.

Next weekend i'm going to a mates property and i will take the 78 CR 250, 82 WR 250 and the 2012 TE 310 for some fun on his motocross track!

very nice collection,I have one question is it true that the meo has a number on the back of its head light. Or is there a number on the bike that tells what number in the 100 it is.I know this is a strange question but just had to ask.bud70

As far as i know, there is no number on the bike to tell you what number out of 100 it is.
I haven't heard about the headlight thing before so i will have a look.

That was the one thing that annoyed me about the Meo, no identification number! ( though i could be wrong )
I would have thought to make it truly special, you would have got a certificate of authenticity with it, stating it's build number, date and time it rolled off the production line and even personally signed by Meo.
It wouldn't have killed him to sign 100 pieces of paper.
Don't get me wrong, i love the bike and don't think i will ever ride it, but Husqvarna missed an opportunity to do something really special.
Maybe i expect too much.

yeah my thoughts as well,I know i love riding the meo. Went mx riding on it on Sunday had a ball.So tell me does it have the 12hole injector and ecu. Thanks bud70

Awesome.

I have cleaned shop and am down to my WB165, TE511 and TR650 which I feel covers everything I need to do.
