    TE = 4st Enduro & TC = 4st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
A Class
I will start with a BIG thx to cafehusky for exelent reading and info.
Before i startet my project i read about nerby all of the things to do, and not to do.
So for now my TE has been sorted out with the famously " fail" issue most of you TE owners had and the wiring and connectors has been cleaned and inserted with cunductorsilicone, (must say that the wiring on these bikes is nothing to brag about)
Custom pained side panels and graphics, Decalworks is on my list for the other sidepanels.
The speedo will be changed to a Trailtec wapour
Zip tye accessories has been ordered.
New 17" motradrims iwarp9 in front a 3,5 " and Exel 5" rear withMichelin Pilot Power, 150/60 ZR17 installed custommade spacers made, perfect fit :-)
Ordered new seat from seatconsepts and pivot pegs.
Ordered powercommander V soon to be installed ? some carbon acessories for the "bling effect."
+ new steering damper from motosportz.
Is it somthing i have missed to do i will be grateful for info.

ZipTy Oil Recirc tank, ZipTy magnetic oil filter cover and a stainless oil filter three of the must do's in my opinion.

I have a Trailtech Vapour you can have for cheap. Opened it to have a look and never installed it.

Thx for so quick response.
All products from zip is a must have, check
The trailtec i will send back , but i need a good speedo/ odo aftermarked that fits
The rear disc is shaped like a cuting blade and bought localy.
Gas cap is original, and will be replaced with a red alu aftermarked.

I also forgot one of the first mods I did was change out the 2011 rear fender and under fender for 2012 ones. Much better design than the 2011 3 piece fender.

Can't remember the price but I got them from TrooperLu's when they were a Husky dealer. Give Hall's a go mate they are a sponsor on here and should be able to sort you out.

hi just wondering were u bought your inner and outer rear fender from n how much did u pay mate
cheers

The prices have dropped big-time recently.

I called Full Throttle motorcycles in Brisbane only the other day, I don't have the prices with me here at work but I'm fairly certain the 2 parts were about $130ish.
I'll be doing mine.

Almost done yust missing the enginecovers and forkprotectors in carbon that i made :-) and some white painting on the frame.

Did you buy the blackbird seatcover and seat infill and fit it yourself? or did you buy a whole new seat?
