• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

anyone know who i should start getting my parts from, use hall cycle but if there is a better option i would love to know.....i spend some coin on these things and want to give it to the best people****************************************

Over my 25 years (ouch! I'm OLD!!) Iv'e tried and used many different sources for my Husky (and sometimes Gas Gas) bikes. There was a few years in there where I have not done business with one Husky dealer or another. But for me Halls has been my BEST source for both parts and bikes and service. They all are great guys and race what they sell, and when they do make a mistake they admit it and take whatever action is needed to correct it!!! I would strongly suggest sticking with them both for advice and parts etc.....!!

yea that is who i have gone with since day one, just gave them 270 dollars hahahaha got a sweet hudky flag coming too haha

+ 800 million for halls because they are the only people i have ever dealt with, that are kind and go that extra mile, no one from husky(corporate) or any part of the company wanted to help me and my friend with our warranty issues, new bikes rode one mile and no one wanted to have anything to do with us, just took our money and gave us shitty running bikes, ok all the memories are coming back and im getting upset haha bye

I know there are multiple GREAT Husky dealers (Motoxotica and Upstate Cycles are also on my favorites list) out there, but Halls is my #1. The main reason is that they are always so willing to spend time with me on the phone helping me troubleshoot problems. Also, they have a great selection of in stock parts and accessories. I just called yesterday for a piston/rings/cam chain/gaskets, 2 fairing bolts, 2 foot peg springs and 1 front sprocket. They had all of those things in stock. I can GUARANTEE that the KTM dealer in town would not have all those things in stock for my dust-collecting XCF-W. Since I have to order everything in, I know I can count on Halls to either have it in stock or get it to me fast.

And since the post actually asked about price, I am fairly certain that Halls' prices are at or below other dealers. With Husky OEM parts, it seems to mostly come down to the cost of shipping as the separating factor, and I think Halls is reasonable.

Another vote for Halls. They made the suggestions, had the parts in stock, and got them to us fast to get my 2010 TC 250 running like a champ.
