    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

ACRMX Nesco Practice Day...!!!

The ACR Practice Day for this fall will be held once again at the Nesco
DirtWorks scrambles track this Saturday, October 26th in Nesco NJ.

This is the same site as the Nesco Swap Meet and Bike Shows, which will
also be held this weekend.
Saturday will have some swap meet vendors while Sunday will have lots of
vendors as well as the Bike Show.
There will be no riding on the track on Sunday.

Also, there is always a great jam-session in the barn on Saturday night.
Bring your axe and sit in for a few tunes!
I always look forward to jamming with great players that I only play
with once a year.

Only full-sized bikes with drum brakes and minibikes of any year will be
allowed to run.
The track is perfectly suited to these types of machines.

Practice will be held from 10am - 5pm.

The suggested donation will be $30 per rider for the day.

Please make sure your silencers are working. It's a good idea to replace
the packing material before riding at Nesco.

We will be running separate practice sessions for Greenhorn and Minibike
riders.
This year will be the 'Nesco Mini-Bike Assault'! I'll be riding my 1970
Speedway Shrike, '69 Mini-Gote, '69 Broncco TC/4 'Cross and my '68
Mini-Trail.

Overnight camping will be allowed. If you camp, just walk over to the
signup table to get your wrist band in the morning.
Please, no generators, loud music or pit riding from 10pm - 8am.

Looks like where shooting for the Sat ride only, but who knows, trying to get people together is like pulling teeth.
If it changes i'll text you Friday night :D
 
What a great weekend.Scored a 78 390cr for $200 and rode my ass off on Saturday. These event is becomeing a don't miss.
