• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Do you know if the new Clark tank will clear this mount? If it does I will probably have you sell me both.

The verdict is... Yes.

I had to shave down the front of the stock tank 1/8" or so to make it fit.

The funny thing is the IMS tank slid right on with no modifications... :applause: Yep you read that right.

This worked on my bike with this particular IMS tank. I am not sure this will work in every situation.

Oops, I should have been more specific... the 2008 CR125 frame (older grey frame).
 
The handlebar mount bolts on my 2010 TXC250 hit the the steering collar pinch bolt thus reducing my lock to lock turning radius. This makes it tougher for me in the tight switch backs. Do you offer a weld on post?

Will the this underbar damper and new tower work on my 2008 CR125? Jmetter shows it on a newer frame, but I want to confirm with you if there are no fitment issues for my model year frame and tripleclamp.

motosportz.. just looking through this thread i absolutely love the look of your bike with those red fork tubes... was there a thread about them somewhere??

This is good news for us poor-folk with old 08 TE's because now that everyone is buying up the new design for new bikes, Kelly will probably offer "blow out pricing" on all the old setups for bikes like mine just to get them out of his inventory :thinking:

Why r they making such a big damn lump on the front of that thing? Sounds to me they need to be like MS and test theyre shiz before they market it. I guess they know all the noobs will simply buy it. :doh::eek:
