• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I wont be able to ride for 2 weeks do to work:banghead: so I sent my suspension off to Les:applause: only now my new TXC looks depressed. Getting the works plus lowered 1 inch. I could not touch the ground and got my first scratch:censored: Now we will see what he can do for me

I was able to ride my new 610 this weekend. Les lowered it 1 1/2" and it was perfect for me. 29" inseam. It was cold however i now the action was very good and think les hit a home run on the setup.

That sounds good after talking to Les I am going to lower mine 1" I have about the same inseam mabey a little more. Did you notice the difference in the seat hight? I had my son step my seat about 2" so that should get seat hight to 35" before sag? I hope that I will also gain some with the correct springs

Mine came back from Les last week. Took it for a short spin but haven't been off-road yet. I can tell it rides much better just with the little seat time I had on it.

Z/28,

The 1" Les took out of my travel recently appears to be about 1.5" off the original seat height.....w/my sag set correctly, on the floor, unloaded, measures 36.75" now (think claimed stock seat height on my '05 was 38.4")

Sounds better all the time Les said that the 1" will appear to be more with the added sag gained with correct springs
