  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Question about Husqvarna Wheel Set Manufacturers...

tls25rs

Husqvarna
AA Class
This is not a WTB thread, more of a who actually manufacters wheel sets for Husqvarnas thread.

I contacted my local dealer to see if they could locate a wheel set manufacturer that could supply me with front and rear wheels, rotors and sprocket for an 06 Husqvarna TE510, they made a few phone calls and were unsuccessful in locating a manufacturer/distributor that would assemble a wheel set for the Husky, guess they are not a common enough application :excuseme: . They are willing to get themselves set up as a dealer of what ever manufacturer/distributor does make the wheel sets for Huskies but don't know where to look.

Any ideas?

I know Motostrano/Hall's/GP etc. would probably be able to locate wheels for me but my local dealer has gone out of their way for me repeatedly in the past as far as getting me parts etc. and I would like to try to keep my business with them so that they will continue to be there in the future.

Thanks

Joel

The most popular brand that comes to mind is Talon. I know some Supermoto guys swap out wheels on their TCs. I would think it's just a matter of wheel bearing and spacer dimensions. I would check the SM sites.

Factory Pro - Doesn't have anything right now but could build them if I needed them to. They do have a supermoto set of wheels in stock though.

RAD Manufacturing - does anyone have a current phone number for them or know if they are still in business. Tried all the numbers on their website and none were in service
