• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

rear tire / wheel size on te

HUNhusky

Husqvarna
hey guys, so I'm converting my TE to SM, I'm ordering some warp9 wheels. i have an option of 17x4.25 or 17x5 on the rear wheel. does anyone know if a 17x5 will fit with some nice juicy tires? or if its not worth bothering? thanks in advance guys!

I went with 17x5 with a 150 rear tire on my 13 te 449/511. The 150 tire was max width for my bike. The tire was super close to the chain any bigger like a 160 I think would of rubbed. Warp 9 is a great set up and worked very well. Make sure you get the correct mm spacer for the rear and the front brake rotor bracket. Not sure what the differences are on mine vs yours but enjoy. Sold the 449/511 and I'm missing them now...image.jpeg

I went with the 4.25" rims and a 150 rear. I think the way the 150 is profiled to the 4.25" rim works well. If you go with the 5" rear you would probably want a 160 rear just to be better suited

I'm rocking the warp9 5" with a 160 contiattack sm. no chain bite here.

La Flame is correct. If you go with 4.25" rim the 150 is your best size and 5" = 160
