• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Ride for the Cure 2OCT10 Cahuilla Creek MX, Anza Ca.

Wish I could make it.

I've driven by and scoped at that track a few times on the way to Anza B, but never did have the chance to ride it. Looks awesome. And an awesome cause

Rob...! Great idea!

I will be there on Saturday Oct 2nd on my Husky TC450 along with Logan on his CRF 50! It is on the calendar!

I am riding in support of my Mother- in- Law Dede who was diagnosed last year with Breast cancer and went through a year of hell with Chemo and Radiation @ Loma Linda. I am proud of her and proud to say that she is a "Survivor" and is in complete remission now****************************************

This is a great Venue/Idea for a SoCal Husky Track get together. Cahuilla is an amazing track and accomodates all skill levels.

anyone else think its a good idea? The display area and pro presence will make it a cool MX show anyway. A great place to check things out. Magazine folks and aftermarket folks will be present.

bringing mr TE husky? or MX green or MX red?

The poor old neglected Mr. Pez the green will probably be in attendance. I rolled him out of the corner of the garage today, blew the dust off of him, cleaned the carb and checked out everything else on him. It's hard to believe that I've owned that bike for three years and it only has about 4 or 5 hours on it total.

We are getting real rain right now !! it should make for moist conditions****************************************
