• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

riggin up my clutch lever

WHITEROCKET5.9

Husqvarna
AA Class
ok so i have a arc and a mme shorty clutch lever and there is something with both of them that doesnt quite work with the magura on my 09 txc 450....the mme lever is too thick to fit and the arc has a 5/16 hingepin hole where as the stock clutch hinge bolt is a 10-24..or close to that. sooo i went and got a few things at farm and home and i plan on riggin er up. im either goin to just bore the top and bottom to the same size as the hing hole in the arc lever and slap a 5/16 bolt with a lock washer on it through there and be done with it orrrrr i have a hardend roll pin that i might cut and stick inside the arc lever so that itll act like a spacer for the stock bolt ...what do yall think

** is there a spacer for the hing bolt on the stock lever? i didnt notice one when i took it off and didnt hear anything drop out.

well that went from bad to worse to the damn thing is on there......almost ruined the arc in the process. i ended up having to wallow out the roll pin. cut it to length. press it in the clutch lever then wallow it out some more and thats were i ran into trouble. the heat from the drilling melted the plastic hinge spacer inside the spring on the arc but everything seems to work fine just kinda cosmeticlly messed up.
