• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Probably a long shot but thought I'd pass it along, some oxygen thief pinched Brett Metcalfes helmet from the MXON ( 4th for the Aussies, good effort lads). Not sure even who you would report this to but I'm sure he would like to get it back, I know I would if I had something to remind me of representing my country.

if he's on normal sponsorship program they have a few of those for him, not to downplay thievery but its just not like you and I normal consumers going out and buying a 750 buck helmet. Hope he gets it back....but thats a long shot Im sure.
 
I hope he gets it back too. People who steal other people's stuff just suck . And I like that term "Oxygen Thief" because it means they are not worth the oxygen they breath in my book.

That's messed up man, you should never wish death on anyone. They deserve getting their ass kicked for the rest of their life, death is just an easy way out for shitheads ;)
 
Maybe he could go for a drive with his family in a Range Rover and run into a bunch of Ninjas that left the ghetto but brought the hood with them :cool:
 
I say hang the skank just like they did to a horse thief in the old west. Stealing a mans bike or his gear is all the same to me. But before ya hang his ass beat him with a coat hanger then dip the bastard in iodine for good measure.:eek:
 
Before the AMA stopped roadracing at Pocono, we used to go to the races on the street bikes to watch. One weekend we went back to the bikes and found some of our helmets and leather jackets were stolen. We ended up running a chain thru our helmets and jackets with a lock every year after that. What kind of piece of $hit does that crap?
 
On a lighter side of things, my one friend went to the vendors to buy a cheap helmet and came back with a chrome Nazi looking helmet and googly eyes glasses to ride an hour and a half back home. Every time I looked at him on the way home i started laughin my a$$ off haha!
