• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

sorry i didnt get any pics of it on my phone i seen it get delivered yesterday at halls and when i wen t back today i seen jay take off on it. he didnt romp it or anything but its throaty...when it was sittin there warmin up it reminded me of a big block lopin

its a high tech piece of machinery man, bob at halls was givin me the lowdown in a nutshell while i was drooling over it in the crate still lol i guess its comes with like 150-160 or so hp then at a service interval i want to say it was 4months down the road the mechanics do some tweaks and bingo your runnin like 190 hp after that and with soem other upgrades with you know youd do if you were slappin down the cash for the thing in the first place your capable of well over 200hp .....cause you know 160hp just isnt enough on 2 wheels

its pretty much race ready, from what i could gather its about the equivilant of bein able to buy a f1 car at the dealership.

The web site is pretty top-notch also and explains alot about the bike ... With all the new parts, research & testings must have been killer ....

i dunno, if your gettin 190 after the sevice update i imagine 200+ is within reach. if you want it on a dyno thatd be easier than one might think if its anyhting like the truck dynos...depending on what kind of dyno it is, where it was done(altidtude, temp etc) and who was doin it.

The new Gsxr is making about 189 with exhaust and a tune on a Dyno Jet, so that would be pretty close to true crank house power. I would be very surprised to see the Duc that high but you never know.
