• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC Slavens video on adjusting TE250/300 Power Valve

That's pretty interesting, ESP with that small tool to allow adjustments on the fly ... And I can see where many might wanna go this route to fine tune their bike ... Adjustments look pretty granular also with the different springs and different pre-load adjusting also... Might be a little tricky do this ADJ but does not sound too bad. I'd guess you can get some weird engine responses playing here as Jeff brought out.

This Jeff guy lays it out pretty well I think ... He's read alot of emails also I guess ...

Im still waiting for that skid plate!!! its on back order.
Too bad on that part ... Is it not available from a pure ktm dealer? Or is that avenue of approach not applicable?

You gonna play with your PV? :)

Don't mean to brag but he's 15 minutes away lol. Seriously though, get on his email list from his website if you're a new model husky owner.

skid plate-TM Design works is b/o on them they are overwhelmed with orders...KTM, Husaberg and Husqvarna all the same, they make orange and black ones. I did play with the PV setting, but went back to the oem setting , more important to get jetting where I need it firstt

For riders on the new gen Husky's, Slavens is going to be a great asset. Lots of years of knowledge about KTM's. Great shop and a great guy.
