• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

SM 630 Frame Sliders

Just purchased a slightly used 2011 SM 630. I will be looking to dress it up and make modes along to way.

Its already got Power Commander with the auto tune, air box mod plus evap removed.

Ive purchased A Scoots Stabilizer and now would like Frame, axl and new pegs with sliders. Any help on pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Don't put frame sliders on a Supermoto, you don't need them and they'll just tweak the frame if they hit hard.

Handguards, pegs with good sliders, axle sliders and a skidplate is all you will need.

If you slide on pavement and it doesn't catapult, the handguards and footpeg will take the most scrubbing, and a cheap polymer Hyde skid plate will save the engine side covers without looking obnoxious or weighing a ton.

(BTW, trust me, I've tested the sliders enough to know...)

Thank you very much Guys. I ve been in contact with Jeff @ Toxic Moto Racing. He's been giving me a hand In my build. RTSCU Thanks for skid plate tip. Like your aux light setup. Who makes it? Ross beautifully made Rear slider set.

ADV Monster

Actually got them from Teslaleds.com, but they no longer carry the 2000 lumen model, and 3600 lumens is almost too bright to be useful, as it will mess up your night vision.

I just wired them in with the hi-beam on their own relay.

Tried an H4 HID conversion for a while, but it doesn't play nice with the Husky reflector and the beam just goes to pot...
