  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

SMR510 2007 exhaust options

I haven't had much luck figuring out what options are available for my '07 SMR510. I've heard the SMR450 header is the same as on the 510, but haven't been able to confirm this.

Any ideas?
 
I don't have any idea, I'll move this on over to the 4st section to see if you get responses there... at least it seems more related to 4st than common topics to me.
 
I think Uptite makes a pipe. Not sure about other pieces of the system although I know he got a nice little machine in that he's using to fashion parts for exhausts including header flanges. He's done exhaust systems for quite a while now If I'm not mistaken.

Pretty sure FBF (fast by feracci) makes one for yor '07 cuz I have one on my '06. It's very nice. I never had the stocker on there so I cant compare, but it's loud as shit :)
 
Arrow have a slipon for the '06 SMR510. Part No. 75039TT. Anyone know whether or not the '06 and '07 headers are the same?

Oh man.... I'm 95% sure they are, there were very little changes between the 06/07.

If it were me I'd download the parts manuals from Halls cycles and compare the numbers.
 
the 05 06 and 07 are the same. and the stock Tc arrow looks very good! maybe you can get a second hand from ebay??
