• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi there,

Is there any information about spareparts voor SMS 630? I broke my front mudplate and headligt unit. I really hope that there is anyone with some information for me. I just bought this bike and i'm very happy with it, but in Holland is no information available about these parts and all are in back-order.
So I really hope that I can find anything via this forum.
tnx in advance.

grtz

Dealer here in Germany still can get parts, but says he doesn´t know for how long. The main dealer (Zupin) is no longer with Husky, and I don´t personally put too much trust in that Austrian.

...in Holland is no information available about these parts...

Just curious- where in the Netherlands are you? I'm in the U.S., but both of my parents were born and raised in Holland (Voorburg.) Other than my mother and my sister all of our family is still there. Oh- and congrats...you guys are kicking a fair amount of ass in the World Cup.

Ah, thanks for the replies ! I'm glad i have something now to continue, cause in Holland it looked allmost as impossible. Good tip also, Halls cycle. I wil search for it and give it a try. Organ DOnor, do you have an adress or website for me in Germany where I can try?

I do live in Gelderland. I do know Voorburg though. a friend of mine is living there. Oh, and by the way, yes indeed.... Holland as world champion... that would be fun ??!! Looking at next saturday, the changes are still good to move up to semi finale. Lets hope :-))

hm.... still very hard to find. Even in the States. I read that Husqvarna promissed to take care of dilivering all the parts nescesary, but I'm starting to get a little afraid now. The motorcycle is great, but without the possibility to order parts, it's starting to get tricky. Let's hope Teuber can deliver the parts I need. They are calling now with Husqvarna so I keep my fingers crossed :-S.
