• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Been testing this out for a couple of weeks now and thought I would share. This is still a proto, so is very rough around the edges so please excuse the ugliness of this one. Production versions will be much nicer looking. We are also working on the stator/ignition side cover right now. We should be introducing them both in the next couple of months.

IMO, the oil line guard is too short. It should be twice as tall, perhaps anchoring into a bolt hole for the cover right behind it.

a couple of pics of the ignition cover. I don't have any solid release date on these just yet as we are currently in the middle of a massive run of clutch and ignition covers for 250/300 2 strokes and 250-510 4 strokes.

Anything you guys make that fits a 2012 TE310 I'm interested in and I have some of your cool bits already. But I have a nice skid plate that provides good lower coverage... still, my upper oil line is exposed. That feels like a weak point. If you could solve that one nicely that would be something. I know others have tried.
Thanks for supporting us Husky riders.

To me, it would make some sense to have the "7602 Racing" a bit more readable from farther away, I can barely read it in the close up pictures.

Been thinking up designs for a long time now. Still nothing that I am happy with.

These are just prototypes. Logo is engraved in with the cnc just for fun.

One of the major graphics companies offers them now. Cant remember exactly which one it is though as i got mine from a fellow ch member who had them made.

Are these deeper than stock? Will they add more oil capacity? Any idea how much?

They will be almost the same depth as stock. The oil level barely rises high enough to get into the clutch cover so there is not much added capacity available. Even if we made them an inch deeper that would only amount to a few cc's worth of oil.

The price will be somewhere in the ballpark with our other covers. $125-150 ish. They will be available in red and black.
