• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Another awesome Vintage ride thanks to Alex Snoop & Ed Sobiech (the property owner). Weather was great, so was the nicely prepped grass & regular MX tracks as well as the woods loops. Plenty
of old friends there, as well as Cafe Husky regulars.

Big thanks to Joe for letting me try is awesome 84 500 auto in the woods, like he said it's like cheating.

I brought my 76 360, 80 390, 83 250 CR's & a 84 250WR.. lots of nice Husky there..
Here's a few..

Ruwfo,
Turns out my bike didn't sieze. It has a MZB igniton. I put a heavier flywheel on it a few months ago. I rode unadilla with no trouble. After I got home from snoops I took it apart and found the screws holding the weight on the flywheel had backed out. They were rubbing on the inside of the case. Two had broke off. I just have to get some new screws and i'm back in action!! I stopped by your truck and spoke to you about the 360 you got off craigslist.

That's great news, sometimes u get lucky.. speaking of that I thought my 360 had a bad crank seal as the idle was getting weird. Turns out it was the throttle
cable getting messed up by numberplate zip ties.

Yeap i remember talking with you, & that's a real nice 360 you've got..
