    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Will a 150 rear fit on the Strada? I'm planning to buy TKC 80's.

Will the stock chain work with 15/49 combo?

Collected a 15t and 49t today. 15t has the wrong shaft splines so put the standard back on. Fitted the rear 49t and the standard chain is too short. The paperwork supplied with the sprockets states the front is for a 2008-2012 BMW F650 GS but doesn't fit the Terra shaft. The rear is for a 1999-2007 BMW F650 GS and fits the rear perfect but the chain is too short.
Anyone know which model of BMW will fit the Terra front sprocket? Cheers.
 
The 2009 & later G650GS.
The 2007-2009 G650X bikes.
The 2000-2007 F650GS (which is a 650cc single)

You bought the front sprocket for the 2008-2012 F650GS (which is an 800cc twin and now called the F700GS for 2013)

Dont you love BMW model naming.:rolleyes:

Cheers for that Ogre_fl. Thought the standard chain would be ok with 2 extra teeth on the back but obviously not.
New bash plate fitted perfect, bark busters and tuning plug on the way.
 
Thanks for that! I found the sprocket thread already and I've ordered a 15 front to start. I'm going to go with TKC 80's 120 front and 150 rear. My Aprilia SXV550 has a 180 rear and I can rocket through tight turns faster than on my CBR!
