• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Standing Setup TE630

Husqvarna
A Class
Just over 1200 k's on the bike now and so far - so good. Next thing is to get more comfortable standing on the pegs. I don't like sitting down too much on gravel or loose terrain, yet the 630 feels pretty awkward atm. At 190cm (6ft 3) I'll try putting some 30mm bar risers on first. I was also thinking about lowering the pegs a little or just swapping out the standard small pegs for something bigger. Any other thoughts out there for ergo setup ? Thanx

I think the Fastway pegs in the low position are a big help. I don't use "risers", but the Scotts sub-mount adds quite a bit of height to the bars. I'm only 5'10" and thought the stock dimensions were pretty awful.

Thanks John,
I hadn't seen those before and look like a good option for a quality peg with some adjustability.

I have Pivot Pegz set in low position ( not much, but maybe 10mm lower than normal ). The best part about the Pivot Pegz are that you can roll back on them ( heel down ) and that allows your legs to stretch out. They are very wide too ( 60mm )! and 2" Roxs raisers set pretty far forward. This is my off road ride at the moment and I stand a lot. Compaired to the OEM set up, this is much better! I'm 6' 1" with long legs and long arms. You will need the Motion Pro 2" longer clutch cable with the Roxs. Hope this helps

where do I find a longer clutch cable for the te630? the motion pro site and their cable selector did not list the te630...
